A webinar was conducted for tertiary institution students and alumni in Singapore to introduce them to various career opportunities based in Japan. The event was organized by Pasona Global and Pasona Singapore in collaboration with 2 Japanese companies, Team Lab and Kokusai Electric.
TeamLab representatives talked about their company’s unique approach to creating immersive and interactive installations that blend art, technology and science. They also invited 2 Singaporean graduates to talk about their roles in the company and woking life in Japan.
Kokusai representatives introduced their work in the field of electronics and semiconductor technologies.
Following the presentations, the representatives from both companies engaged in an interactive Q&A session, answering students’ questions about the work culture, requirements and work-life balance in Japan.
The event was well-received by the attendees, who found the insights and advice provided by the industry experts helpful in understanding the opportunities and challenges of working in Japan. Many students expressed their interest in applying for the available internships and job opportunities with TeamLab and Kokusai Electric.
