Joint Collaboration Seminar Report (Held in Japan)

Pasona Singapore co-hosted a joint seminar with the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) and Global Gateway Advisors at the Pasona Group headquarters in Minami-Aoyama, Tokyo.

We were pleased to welcome a strong turnout of participants, which reflected the high level of interest in the seminar topic.


In this seminar, participants who are considering business expansion into Singapore were provided with the latest market trends and practical insights on establishing regional headquarters, expanding into Southeast Asia through M&A, and essential HR and labour regulations required for successful market entry.

Mr. Chua from the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) introduced the advantages of Singapore as a regional headquarters hub, shared business collaboration models with neighbouring countries to optimize operating costs, and presented real-life case studies of successful market expansion.

Ms. Itakura from Global Gateway Advisors shared insights on the current overseas expansion landscape of Japanese companies, key considerations when entering the Singapore market, as well as practical case studies on market entry and M&A strategies.

Ms. Morimura from Pasona Singapore presented the latest updates on the local talent market and work visa regulations, practical examples of effectively leveraging local talent, and shared hands-on knowledge to support business development in Singapore, together with an overview of the company’s comprehensive support services.

Through this collaborative seminar, participants were able to gain a wide range of practical and valuable insights.


In addition to information sharing, the seminar also provided a valuable opportunity for networking among companies and participants.

By bringing together professionals from a wide range of industries, the event created a meaningful space where new perspectives were shared and potential collaboration opportunities could naturally arise.
